RoamLite

Terms of service

Last updated 24 September 2026

These terms apply when you use roamlite.co or buy an eSIM from RoamLite ("RoamLite", "we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them.

1. What we sell

RoamLite sells prepaid, data-only eSIM plans for travel. Each plan gives you a set amount of mobile data for a set number of days in the destination shown when you buy it. Plans are provided by our network partners, who connect you to local mobile networks.

  • Plans include mobile data only. They don't include a phone number, calls or SMS.
  • Your existing SIM and phone number stay on your phone and keep working as they normally do.
  • Speeds, coverage and available networks depend on the local networks at your location and aren't guaranteed.

2. Your device

You're responsible for making sure your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlockedbefore you buy. Our compatibility guidance can help, but it can't check your specific device. If your phone is locked or doesn't support eSIM, the eSIM won't work, and our refund policy explains when you can get your money back.

3. Buying a plan

  • Prices are set in US dollars and include any taxes we're required to collect.
  • At checkout, our payment provider Stripe may offer to charge you in your local currency. If you choose that, Stripe shows you the exact amount before you pay.
  • You must give a valid email address. We send your eSIM and receipt there.
  • You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

4. Delivery and activation

  • After payment we deliver your eSIM on the order page and by email, usually within a few minutes. The eSIM is a QR code and an activation code that you install on your phone.
  • Most plans start counting their validity when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination. Some start when you install them; those are marked on the destination page before you buy.
  • An eSIM that is never installed or used expires after the period set by our network partner, typically 180 days from purchase.
  • An eSIM can usually be installed only once. If you delete it from your phone, it may not be possible to reinstall it.
  • Unused data and validity don't carry over after a plan ends.

5. Fair and lawful use

Use your plan for personal travel use. Don't resell it, use it in devices other than phones, tablets or laptops, use it for illegal activity, or use it in a way that harms our network partners. Our network partners may apply fair-use limits to protect their networks. We may suspend an eSIM that is used in breach of these terms.

6. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms affects rights you have under consumer law where you live.

7. Our responsibility to you

We work to deliver a working eSIM for the plan you bought. We aren't responsible for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control, including local network outages, your device, or events such as natural disasters. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We don't exclude liability where the law says we can't.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, you keep any protections the law of your country gives you.
