RoamLite

Privacy policy

Last updated 24 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information RoamLite collects when you use our site or buy an eSIM, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we need to deliver your eSIM.

What we collect

  • Your email address, to send your eSIM, receipt and invoice, and to help you if you contact us.
  • Your name and billing address, collected by our payment provider at checkout to process the payment and work out any tax due.
  • Payment details. These go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Order details: what you bought, when, the amount paid, and your eSIM's identifiers (such as its ICCID and activation code).
  • Technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider records to keep the site running and secure.

We don't use advertising trackers or sell your information. We don't see what you do online while using your eSIM.

Stored on your device

We save two things in your browser's local storage: your chosen display currency, and the eSIMs you bought on that device so they appear under My eSIMs. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser's site data. Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run RoamLite, and only what each one needs:

  • Stripe processes payments, calculates tax, and issues receipts and invoices.
  • Cloudflare hosts the site and stores order records.
  • Resend sends our emails.
  • Our eSIM network partner (currently eSIM Access) provides the eSIM. We send them an order reference and the plan you bought, not your name or email address.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. These providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States, with safeguards required by law.

Why we use it

  • To deliver the eSIM you bought and support you with it (performing our contract with you).
  • To keep tax and accounting records (a legal obligation).
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure (our legitimate interest).

How long we keep it

We keep order records, including your email address, for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually up to 7 years. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or California law), you can ask to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your information, or object to how we use it. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising. To make a request, email support@roamlite.co. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

RoamLite isn't intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change and change the date at the top. For anything significant, we'll tell customers by email.
